Battamang Tours is an online and offline booking platform selling travel activities in Cambodia and Asia. It offers a large variety of tours and activities in Cambodia through its website visitlocaltravel.com and some partner overseas travel agencies. Visit Local Travel is a local tour operator selling tour activities online that connects customers with operators in the travel industry in Asia.
1. User Conduct
- Clients understand and agree that they are solely responsible for compliance with the rules & regulations of the website. Clients must agree that they will not: Use manual or automated software, devices, robots, or any other means to access any webpage of the website.
- Copy or store any information contained on the website.
- Interfere with or damage the website through the use of viruses, bots, Trojans, harmful codes, denial-of-service attacks, or any other similar methods.
- Use our website to transmit any personal information about another person/entity.
- Contact a user to join a third-party website or service that is a competitor (a company or an individual proposing similar touristic services) to Visit Local Travel.
- Attempt to scan or test the vulnerability of the Visit Local Travel system in order to breach any security authentication measures.
- Encourage or assist any third party in doing any of the foregoing.
2. Eligibility
- Persons under the age of 18 are not eligible to use any services on our site.
- If a client has been suspended for any reason by Visit Local Travel, the client will not be allowed to use our service anymore.
3. Acceptance of risk
You understand that the Travel Product may be risky. You may go to places with greater challenges than our daily lives. You agree to travel knowing the COVID-19 risks. It’s your responsibility to know the relevant travel information and the health risks. Your decision to travel is based on this information and you take responsibility for the risks. You may have to follow extra policies to travel. We are not liable for these additional risks.
4. Passports and visas
Please ensure you have all necessary documentation and identification for entry, departure, and travel. This includes a valid passport, visas, permits, certificates, and insurance. Your passport must be valid 6 months after the last date of travel. You are fully responsible for obtaining and maintaining these documents, and any costs or losses resulting from missing or incorrect documentation.
5. Your Details
To confirm travel arrangements, provide the requested details with the balance of Travel Product price. Necessary details vary, and may include full name, date of birth, nationality, passport number, issue and expiry date, and pre-existing medical conditions affecting travel. We may deny carriage if name varies from booking. Not liable for loss or damage from incorrect name or Operator policies.
6. Payments Policy
- All payments are made through only bank transfers. The following credit cards are not accepted recently.
- Any bank transfer fee must in charged by clients.
- Visit Local Travel does not charge any fees for processing payments.
- Your booking will not be confirmed until payment has been made.
7. Deposit and final payments
When booking, you must pay a deposit. The amount will be specified by your sales consultant. This deposit secures your booking, but prices may change before the final payment. The timing for the final payment will be stated in the terms and conditions. We are not responsible for changes to the payment due date. Prices are not guaranteed until full payment is made and documents are processed.
8. Charge and Cancellation for Multi-Day Tours
- 60 days before arrival: No cancellation charge. We Guarantee 100% Money Back.
- 30-59 days before arrival: 5% cancellation charge.
- 15-29 days before arrival: 10%
- 8-14 days before arrival: 40%
- 7 days before arrival: 100 %
- and No show: 100%.
9. Charge and Cancellation Policy for Day Tours
We understand that plans can change, and we strive to provide flexibility for our customers. The cancellations made up to 24 hours before the scheduled start of the tour will not incur any charges. However, cancellations made within 24 hours of the tour start time will be subject to a 100% charge.
10. Vouchers
- After the payment has been made and the booking is confirmed, clients will receive the activity booking voucher that contains all details of the activity, including the list of practical details, and the operator’s contact details.
- Clients will need to show the activity supplier either a printed or electronic version of the booking voucher on the day of the activity as proof of booking.
11. Land Agreement
The Tour Operator reserves the right to change the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances. In all cases, Visit Loca Travel will do its best to maintain the content of the tour. The Tour Operator reserves the right to change the hotel listed on the tour for others of similar quality.
11. Weather
- Many activities are “weather dependent” which means that activities may be canceled because of bad weather conditions; we will decide whether or not the activity can be done, depending on the weather conditions. In case of doubt, we advise our clients to give a call to our support team just before the activity starts. The supplier’s contact details are provided inside the voucher sent after booking confirmation.
- If bad weather conditions affect your booking, the weather policy varies according to the one chosen by the operator; either “Refund in case of bad weather”, “Change activity date in case of bad weather”, “Refund or change activity date in case of bad weather”, “No refund in case of bad weather”, “Program may be changed in case of bad weather”, or “Activity not impacted in case of bad weather”.
12. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is recommended for your travel period, but we do not cover it and highly recommend buying and use to cover your travel activities.
13. Time zone
For time and date calculations, the time zone of ours shall apply (GMT+7).
14. Liability
- You agree that your use of our service is at your own risk in case you make your own mistake.
- We assume no liability or responsibility for errors/mistakes in content, personal injuries/property damage of any nature whatsoever, obligations, losses, costs, or debts.
- You agree to take all responsibility for all the different aspects linked to the activity you purchased.
